      Hi,

To put it very briefly, I have completed the advanced level of Feng Shui online, Stems and Branches, and Day Selection 1 & Day Selection 2 courses. You could have a look at the courses in detail here – http://www.amfengshui.com/ashop/catalogue.php?exp=5|&cat=5

This is how I got involved with Feng Shui

I was initially introduced to Feng Shui by my mother on the dinner table. She was doing this course from a lady who is now a good family friend of ours. This lady is an Indian lady settled in the UK.

While my mother discussed Feng Shui at the dinner table – I guess I was the only one who was actually llistening to her while the others listen to her but with both ears – one for entry and the other for exit!!! 😀 To them it was GREEK to me it made me aware of something that would help me get out of my struggle at each step.

At this point in time, I would like to share something that most of us go through. How many of us feel that some of the ideas we have are superb, we are possibly one of the most hard working human beings on the face of this earth – but then why this struggle at every given step??? Well this is how I felt and so did people most closest to me. But it was something that I had to do for myself. I thought I would dwell with astrology and have been to probably the astrologer from the footpath (in India) right through to astrologers who are consulted by celerbrities all over the world. Although astrology tells you your past, present and future it does not tell you how to REMEDY. This is what attracted me to my mother’s conversations on the dinner table.

I then started researching the metaphysics – FENG SHUI. There were a few Masters that I had shortlisted but there was only one of them that I could learn with. At this point in time I would like to add that it pays to learn from one Master and that too from a TRUE MASTER – a SIFU – (means MASTER in Chinese). Just for those who are wondering how a person gets a title such as “MASTER” – it is not he who calls himself “MASTER” but it is the students who call him/her MASTER out of respect. In my opinion this gentelman called LARRY SANG is not a MASTER but he is MY GRANDMASTER and mind you I am not speaking from my heart but from my head. As we go along, I will show you the comparisions that I have made personally before selecting to study with MASTER LARRY SANG. The best thing is that I say all of this even without meeting MASTER SANG.

Some of the factors that I considered before deciding to study at the AFSI.

      1. There is no room for error.
I strongly believe that you either know your FENG SHUI (basics to start with) or you don’t. There are no ifs and buts here – because you are talking about somebody’s life. It is for this reason, that selecting the RIGHT MASTER you want to study with is very important. This was one of the most important reasons for my deciding to study at the AFSI institutes. I will exaplin more of this in the next few stories that I hope to write.

2.Who is the oldest out of them all?
MASTER SANG has been teach feng shui for about 12 years now. Not only that – the AFSI is the only place in the world where you are able to learn all the Chinese arts. Compare the courses taught at the AFSI as compared to any other institute and you will know what I am saying. For example – YIN FENG SHUI – see more here – http://www.amfengshui.com/cldesc/fs451.htm or Iron Board Astrology. For a better understanding of what these two courses are all about, I strongly recommend you read MASTER SANG’s book – Feng Shui: Facts and Myths here – http://www.amfengshui.com/ashop/catalogue.php?exp=5|2|&cat=1. In this regard there is absolutely no comparision at all whatsoever.

      3.Who taught online?
Since I was in India and could not make it physically to the US, these classes are by far the best. Again there are many classes offerred online but this one has the largest number of sign ups on the board, has an open forum for you to be able to judge the quality information shared by the instructors. Each one of the instructors are just fantastic in their own way. As a new student I always wanted to know what was on the other side of the fence so to speak but there was nobody to share it with. I hope to write a few lines about most of the instructors who have taught me to give you a peek into what to expect from them and mind you they are just fantastic.

Also, with people from all parts of the world one is able to look at many different kinds of homes – for example while I was in India homes were pretty straight forward – sitting v/s facing. Once I moved to Australia it took me 3 days to fresh what I had learnt in the basic course before selecting on a home down under.

      4.The Principles of Feng Shui

It was after I read this book that I enrolled in the classes. This is the best investment that any feng shui aspirant could ever make. It was from this book coupled with the free online seminar – http://www.amfengshui.com/introsignup.htm that I realised how MASTER SANG made understanding FENG SHUI so easy. I have purchased many books on FENG SHUI but have never really completed readying most of them. I ready this book 12 times in 4 days and each time I read it I learnt something – I am still doing to even this day as new classes come online. 😀

These are some of the reason I have selected to study FENG SHUI at the AFSI.
