Another school I attended did not seem to be as open to questions as you folks are. And they seemed to want to keep an "air of mystery" about Feng Shui in general even with their students. They seemed to "complicate" things by insisting on using Chinese terms instead of the English equivilent. Much easier to just concentrate on the numbers and the elements here. Other practitoners - the answers were always "well, that's what I was taught". While I can understand that answer, I always wonder why they never asked WHY?.

Master Sang has managed to take a very complicated subject and distill it into the simplest form so as to make it very easily understood. In my mind a mark of a true Master. One who really understands his subject. Thank you Sir!

I've been interested in Feng Shui for several years, but felt that parts of it were pretty "absurd". After MUCH research and many books later, I found AFSI. I'm about to finish my 4th week of Beginning F.S. course. Can't tell you how happy I am that I found this site!

I would like personally to thank the American Feng Shui Institute for the great work and tremendous help to get us closer to the true tradition and meaning of Feng Shui. You have developed a great web site with a tremendous Professional Bulletin Board that represents such an important and vital link among all of us. The format was easy to follow and clear, and contained lots of information- it's not just a 'dummy' class! I'm so glad I found your site. I've just began studying the Advanced section. I've taken two other online classes from two different Masters. I must say that this current class by Master Sang is comprehensive, but straight forward in its treatment. It is challenging without being too complicated or pretensious in its scope. I look forward to learning more about this advanced Xuan Kong. If it lives up to the previous two courses, I will really learn a great deal.
