The Institute draws the best instructors from all over the globe. These instructors are personally trained by Master Sang to provide the highest quality of training for our students. Only these instructors are authorized by the Institute to provide classes and to provide the Institute Certificates.

Senior Instructors
Richard Carpenter
Over the past 14 years, Mr. Carpenter has applied nearly every Feng Shui technique Master Sang has taught either on himself or to those close by so that he could observe the feedback. In nearly every instance, a measurable change was noticed.
As a practitioner of Feng Shui, his philosophy is: “If you use Feng Shui to help yourself or others to improve your life and it works, you’ve gained everything; if nothing happens then you’ve lost nothing! So study hard and find out for yourself the power of this ancient knowledge.”
Mr. Carpenter uses his knowledge of Feng Shui and Zi Wei Dou Shu Chinese Astrology to help his clients achieve their potential and surpass it.

Kartar Diamond
Kartar Diamond is a Feng Shui Consultant and Instructor from the American Feng Shui Institute. Since the early 1990’s, she has studied directly with Master Sang. With this training, Kartar has advised thousands of clients in numerous areas including how to improve their finances, their health, and their relationships.
Founder of Feng Shui Solutions, Ms. Diamond specializes in evaluating residential and commercial property; however, she also works with architects and contractors in the design phase of a project, and as well helping people house-hunt.
Kartar’s teaching itinerary includes introduction classes at many schools and colleges in Southern California. She also lectures frequently for various organizations and corporations, and has a Feng Shui Video Workshop Series. Her goal is to help educate the western world about the natural science of Feng Shui, so that people can benefit from the knowledge and practical application in their lives. Simona Mainini
Doctor in Architecture & Feng Shui Consultant

Simona F. Mainini, Dr. Arch., earned her Doctor in Architecture degree from the School of Architecture of the Politecnico di Milano in Italy, where she also became acquainted with the ritual and spiritual architectural design systems practiced in Asia.
Since the establishment in 1997 of her international practice, Feng Shui Architecture, Inc., she has consulted and guided many homeowners, businesses, corporations, and fellow architects and designers worldwide in the application of these ancient principles to contemporary designs.

P.K. Odle
P.K. Odle has 13 years experience as Feng Shui consultant. Since meeting Master Larry Sang in 1996, she’s devoted her life to the study and practice of Classical Yi Jing Feng Shui. She loves having the opportunity to make positive changes in the world… one client at a time.
Her consulting firm, The Feng Shui Advantage® offers comprehensive evaluations of existing structures, as well as project development for residential and commercial clients worldwide. P.K. works with a wide variety of clients from engineers to holistic healers, actors to wholesalers, executives to Olympic athletes, internationally renowned graphic & interior designers.
P.K. is proud to be an internationally respected instructor for the American Feng Shui Institute since 1998 and has assisted Master Sang on all 4 AFSI China trips. She worked as his assistant in the Institute’s Monterey Park, CA offices in 1999. She’s also, on occasion, acted as his assistant on Feng Shui readings. As a member of the Institute’s American Society of Feng Shui and American Yi Jing Study Center, P.K. assisted with the coordination of many Society events. P.K. is dedicated to deepening her knowledge of Feng Shui, and successfully completes every class offered, including the AFSI 2007 classes with the International Association of Yi Jing Studies in Beijing.

Chris Shaul
A Senior Instructor and webmaster for the Institute, Chris is originally from Southern California. He holds a Bachelors of Science degree and has been a Director of Information Technology. He first met Master Larry Sang when he was living in Hong Kong in 1993. Impressed with Master Sang and his teachings of Feng Shui, Chris returned to the United States in 1994 and began studying with Master Sang at the American Feng Shui Institute. Soon after, he began teaching at the Institute. Having such a background in computer systems, he found the logical, mathematical and common-sense process of Feng Shui attractive and interesting.
Co-founder of 168 Feng Shui Advisors, Chris has consulted with hospitals, commercial buildings and offices, retail stores, restaurants, and for homeowners. He has also provided readings for corporations, small businesses and individuals across the US and abroad. He is a Senior Instructor at the American Feng Shui Institute. He has taught more than thousands of students the practice of Feng Shui. He is continuing to teach at the Institute and via the online classes. He is the author and moderator of several of the American Feng Shui Institute’s on-line courses. He is a member of the American Society of Feng Shui and the American Yi Jing Study Center.
Chris also lectures at colleges, architecture schools, private organizations, and for businesses. He has appeared in various media including television, radio, and in print. He maintains several Internet sites providing information about this fascinating science.

Sophia Tang Shaul

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Sophia was exposed to Feng Shui at an early age. However, growing up all that she saw around her was superstitious nonsense. It was not until she met Master Larry Sang in the mid-1980’s that she realized Feng Shui was a mathematically-based science. She then started studying with him in 1992.
Co-founder of 168 Feng Shui Advisors, Sophia has provided analysis on large-scale properties, as well as private homes, all over the United States and abroad. Her clientele includes executives in the entertainment industry, real estate industry and other business owners.
Along with Chris, Sophia provides consultations around the U.S. and abroad.
A sought after reference on traditional Feng Shui, she has been seen both in print, radio and on television. She has been written about and has been featured the New York Times, E-Entertainment’s Home with Style, Natural Health Magazine, and the US Japan Business News, and Feng Shui for Modern Living. She is a Member of the American Society of Feng Shui and the American Yi Jing Study Center.

Janice Sugita
Janice Sugita, is an international feng shui expert, has studied with the American Feng Shui Institute for over 11 years and has 25 years interior design experience. She is an expert in home design using feng shui principles to increase personal health and success. Janice has appeared on numerous television shows and has just published a feng shui Ebook “The Feng Shui Equation for Successful Living for Single Men and Women” for personal success for singles . She has travelled extensively in the US for consultations for homes and businesses as well as Argentina, Chile, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Brazil and Guadalajara. As a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers for over 25 years, she has had numerous projects featured in magazines worldwide and has participated in Design Home tours, and has taught and lectured to design
professionals about the prosperity and health attributes of feng shui and water in design.
An avid speaker and author of feng shui for personal success, health and relationships, Janice provides easy to use tips and valuable information for homeowners as well as business owners seeking balance in their lives as well as their environment. She has been the featured lecturer for various home shows, resorts, conventions and trade shows as well as for professional real estate companies and developers and upcoming cruise lines. Janice is also one of the instructors at the American Feng Shui Institute and has taught feng shui at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.

Lorraine Wilcox, Ph.D., L.Ac.
Languages: English and Mandarin
Lorraine Wilcox has studied Feng Shui with Master Sang since 1993. She is currently his assistant, and one of the instructors. Lorraine assists in teaching the Feng Shui, Day Selection, Yi Jing, and Zi Wei Dou Shu Astrology Classes. Lorraine also helps Master Sang write the annual Feng Shui and Astrology Guides.
Lorraine is an acupuncturist, licensed in California since 1989 and has a Ph.D. in classical Chinese medicine. She teaches Chinese medicine at acupuncture schools in the Los Angeles area.
She is the author of Moxibustion: the Power of Mugwort Fire.
