Combination of the house trigram with the annual number

Dear Chris,

My question is:

My house is a Kan House and if I understood well, I suppose that If i combine the house trigram with the annual number for this year, I get the same numbers in each square of the trigram. Here the combinations would be 4-4, 6-6, etc... So what happens in this case?

Normally I would not answer a post directed at another instructor, but Chris is a busy guy and your question should have been posted in the intermediate forum instead of the technical support forum. Technical support literally means technical problems with getting the classes or uploading information, etc.

Every house will have a year when the annual number matches the house trigram number in every area. In 2008 it is the Kan house. Next year it will be the Li house, etc.

What it means is that the good an bad are intensified in each area.
Obviously a 8 and 8 together is extremely good and 2 and 2 together is that much worse. But it makes using the element remedies that much easier.
